IHSS&IWA26 / BRNO / CZECHIA / 23–28 August 2026 BOOK OF ABSTRACTS 196 Poster Session / Soil Organic Matter, Caustobiolites, and Biochar Hall A monitoring of agricultural soils in the Czech Republic. Attempts to correlate quantitative characteristics of soil organic matter with soil textural type are present and discussed. Soil texture and organic matter seem to survive military operations, particularly explosions and transport of military vehicles. However, the collected data should be still considered as preliminary data and more extensive sampling is desirable. Future research should also focus on inorganic contamination, especially by heavy metals. References 1. L. Kolář, F. Klimeš, R. Ledvina, S. Kužel, Plant Soil Environ. 49 (2003) 8. 2. L. Kolář, R.
