Moreover, the proposed approach can be further correlated with complementary methods, such as the Tea Bag Index, microcalorimetry and Biolog EcoPlate analysis, enabling a more comprehensive quantitative evaluation of soil biological quality and the effects of soil amendments in environmental monitoring and soil restoration studies.
