IHSS&IWA26 / BRNO / CZECHIA / 23–28 August 2026 BOOK OF ABSTRACTS 72 Research Frontiers Tuesday, 25 August 2026 / Hall B+C Untargeted metabolomics confirmed that these transcriptional shifts translate into the strategic accumulation of osmoprotectants and antioxidants, including glucose, proline, and flavonoids such as quercetin. These metabolites act as functional outputs of the FA-induced gene networks, providing a robust buffer against environmental flux. By correlating specific biochemical markers with high-throughput sequencing data, this study provides preliminary insights into the mechanistic framework for FA. Beyond traditional physiological observations, we demonstrate how multi-omics studies may play an important role in transforming biostimulants from „black box“ products into agronomic tools that can be manipulated and modified for improved precision and performance. This holistic approach allows for the identification of stimulusspecific regulatory hubs, enabling the transition from empirical application to the predictable, evidence-based design of next-generation biostimulants tailored for climate-resilient agriculture.
